7 October 2008 marks the 7th year of occupation.
NATO has killed more civilians than the Taliban. On 22 August, 95 civilians, 60 children among them, were massacred by NATO airstrikes. Yesterday 1 September, NATO forces killed another 70 civilians!

Diggers waited six hours on the battlefield before being taken to

are trapped in the ruins of a city almost destroyed by Georgian
missiles. The remaining residents of Tskhinvali are huddled in cellars
beneath bombed-out buildings. They are struggling to survive - without
water, food or electricity.

Tariq
Aziz, real name Michael Yuhanna, the former Iraqi Deputy Prime
Minister, is currently on trial and the same fate awaits him. Tariq is
a Chaldean Catholic by birth. Aziz is accused of involvement in the
killing of 42 merchants who were accused of manipulating food supplies
to drive up prices at a time when Iraqis were suffering economically.
It is said he signed the execution orders after the court had found the
merchants guilty.
